Hello, We are looking to spend a couple of days in the Cape. We are trying to do this trip without a car, and are currently trying to decide where to go. For someone who has never been to Cape Cod, where should we stay? Any affordable accommodation that you can recommend (B&B, hotel)? Much appreciated.
Unless you stay in one of the larger towns, Cape Cod is really not very condusive to not having a car. You can the ferry from Boston to Provincetown and stay there, for example.

As mentioned above, without a car, the Cape isn't easy to get around. Also as mentioned above, a ferry to Provincetown makes a nice one- or two-day trip. You can also get a short flight from Boston to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, or Hyannis (https://www.capeair.com/). There are some places accessible by bus, but you'd spend a lot of your two days travelling. Prices will depend partly on when you're planning to go, and will be higher in places where a car isn't needed. During the season (roughly Memorial Day to Labor Day), everywhere is booked solid - if you're looking for this year, you might be too late to find something that both fills all your needs and isn't expensive. General thoughts: Provincetown is the easiest from Boston, and there's tons of accommodation and good restaurants there, plus whale watches, etc. There are also a LOT of visitors. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard tend to be very expensive. Hyannis isn't my favorite place, but you could get a taxi from there to somewhere like Chatham (about 20 miles away), which would probably be my choice (cute town, quieter than Provincetown).
