I will be traveling to marinduque on tuesday (march 18, 2008) and will be staying there until thursday morning (march 20, 2008). My problem is I can't get any accommodation for an overnight stay as inns and hotels are fully booked during the Holy Week. My plan is to just stay in some 24-hour eatery or restaurant in boac. Is there a 24-hour eatery in boac or balanacan port? Would it be safe for a female traveler to stay in such a place until the first bus and ferry trip back to Manila? Another thing, bus and ferry trips going back to manila/quezon would not be problem on Holy Thursday, right?
What is the dialect of the people in Marinduque? What is the food specialty of Marinduque? And also from Manila how can we get there, the time, place....?
