Hello everyone! Just want to ask what mode of transportation can we take from Apayao going to Kalinga. How many hours the travel time would take? Thanks in advance. :)
Jeepneys go from Kalinga to Conner, Apayao, as well as Bontoc,Balbalan, Labuagan, Pasil, and Pinukpuk but the road is rough and travel is slow.

Thanks Dave for the quick response. We're planning to have a trip around CAR starting way up from Apayao, going to Kalinga, Mt. Province, and lastly ifugao. Any information on how to get from one province to the other would really help us a lot! I was running out of hope since few had documented trips around the Cordillera region until i got your response! :)

I never got to Apayao or Kalinga, but from Mt. Province I'm sure you can catch a jeepney, or hire one, to get to Ifugao. From Sagada to Banaue, it took us about 4 hours (40 kms of bumpy road). Hope this helps. Enjoy!

Just look at the map on www.maplandia .com whcih will show you the roads and work it out from there. I did this years ago on my mountain bike so i cannot give you precise travel info. Good Luck

From which ever place in apayao you would start except for calanasan and luna , you will have to pass via tabuk to go on to lubuagan, salegseg, balbalan. If you want to proceed to bontoc from tabuk then the route will be via lubuagan and tinglayan. jeepneys regularly ply these routes. Balabalan and salegseg are connected also to the abra kailinga road so you can do a side trip to malibcong or down even to bangued. No idea on jeepney travel time, since road conditions changes so do the jeepney conditions varies a lot. bong
