Hi, I am planning to go to Albay on NOv 6-9. I am going to one foundation to donate some grocery stuff. Is there any big supermarket in Bicol like Shoemart where to buy tootpaste, shampoo, toothbrush. I need to buy big volume. Can anyone recommend me where I can buy this in wholesale. thanks
Hi Cecille, the closest SM will be in Lucena City (Quezon). There's a supermarket in Naga, I think the name is Roberto's or something though I'm not familiar with the prices of items there nor how extensive the selections are.

There are LCC shopping malls and I have been to bigger Metro Mall as well. You should not expect any problem buying said items. Not sure if they will offer discount on bulk purchases.

Thanks for your reply. What about Jolibee or Mcdonals? Lucena is Quezon..confused is that near to Bicol Albay?

Lucena is, I guess about 6-7 hours away from Legaspi. There's Jollibee in major cities like Legaspi, Naga.

Yes Jollibee in all major towns. I even had my lunch in Chowking, not sure if it was in Tabaco or Legaspi.

The biggest supermarket chain in Albay is LCC. In Legaspi, there's LCC Mall (with dept store) and Gaisano Mall both have big supermarkets. In Tabaco, LCC Supermarket is the biggest. In Ligao, LCC Express Mart.

Lucena, Quezon is 6 to 7 hours away from Albay. yes there are Jollibees in almost every major Albay town. Biggs is the local food chain in Bicol. Mc Donald's in Albay is located in Gaisano Mall, Legaspi City.

In Legazpi, there are malls like LCC and Gaisano where you can shop.There are also supermarkets where you can buy discounted by bulk items.
