I plan to see Providence, RI, someday to visit the graves of Edgar Allan Poe & HP Lovecraft. But I can find no website of Providence which contains any info on these famous graves. (There are so few sites on Providence.) Can anyone tell me anything about these?
I believe Poe is buried in Baltimore, not Providence. If you're interested in his life, the best autobiography is by Kenneth Silverman - a truly scholarly but interesting read.

June is correct that Poe is buried in Baltimore, MD. However Lovecraft (a big eugenics fan) is indeed buried in Swan Point Cemetery in Providence. Please stop off and say hi to Jimmy Hendrix before you start your trip for me please. Here is a very good link on cemeteries in Providence.
