I want to buy some property along the coast near progreso,Yucatan,Mexico. How do I find someone who will help me and not rip me of? Can someone give me a name and how to contact them? Where should I stay when I am there?

Theer are only a few real estate people in the Yucatan. Most of them are in Merida and know little about Progreso and the coast. A long time Progreso resident Dr. P. Appleton has just set up a real estate firm to help others NOT get ripped of. He lives theer and runs the local English school and Casa Isidora hotel.
