I am planning a camping trip trough PEI next year ( so far it's just a daydream,hehe ). How is the camping/backpacking there?? Can I get from campsite to campsite by bus?? ) What to see and do in PEI?? Thanks!! Bob
pei is wonderful - getting around by public transportation is not very feasible.

Hi Pei is wonderful for camping . There are lots of beaches and hiking /biking trails all around the island.Here's a link for some bus info.gov.pe.ca/infopei/index.php3... and here is a link for some camping parks. gov.pe.ca/visitorsguide/inde... Having said that though I agree with the other reply...better to rent a car . PEI is so rural not very convenient to travel by bus.
