I found out that the ferry from Mytilini to Ayvalik is quite expensive. Do you have a better ideat how to get out of Lesvos to Turkey? Thanks a lot.
I am travelling to Malta in July then onto Lesbos Island. I just recently found out from a mutual freind in Australia that Julie former (Kugoss) lives on the Island of Lesbos. I ask simply because I've been to Santorini (very touristy, but worth it because it's so beautiful) and Naxos (touristy near the main town, but otherwise seemed very "genuine"). How does Lesvos compare?
Hello everybody, I'va a question, which appartemt do you recommend for european visitors. And is there a tourist office in Lesvos/lesbos, where there is more information about rent an appartment. We like an appartment which is not in the ordinary guides in Holland but.....we love the greek style. Can anyone help us? Thank you in advance
Hi all. We're travelling to Lesvos, Chios and Samos as backpackers in August 2003. We didn't plan to book any accomodations beforehand, but it looks like August is a very busy period in that area. We'll be looking after private rooms or b&b type of places. Any recommendations on whether we should book accomodation beforehand ? Or any good suggestions... ? Thanks in advance, take care... Guy
