Hi all, Three girlfriends and I are visiting Prague next Saturday and while we think we have the usual sights covered as part of our 4 day itinerary, thanks to all of you who have posted tips on VT, we wondered if anyone can tell us if there are any pleasant casinos we might visit. We're all travelling light, so we won't have any swanky clothes, but thought it might be fun to try our luck if there is somewhere which will let us in wearing casual clothes, but at the same time isn't too down at heel. We're staying near Wenceslas Square. Thanks in advance for any help you can give :)
I can't remember its name but there is a decent casino on Wenceslas Square - towards the top (northeast) corner. Smart casual is fine - you'll need your passport as ID. If I remember correctly most hotels have an arrangement with them for free entry - it might have been a voucher in one of the advertising leaflets in the hotel gumph.

Thanks John. I'll see if we can find it! :)

Looking at Wenceslas Square on Google streetview, I found a casino/nightclub in the North corner called Goldfinger at the Ambassador Zlata Husa hotel...does that sound familiar?

Hopefully it's the one I'm thinking of - it's not a large casino - a couple of blackjack tables, roulette and poker.

Yes, it did look reasonably small. Thanks again :)
