Hi I have booked to stay at Prachuap Khiri Khan for 5 days in September. then thinking of going to Ko Samui for 4 nights. However is it rather better to just stay in Prachuap Khiri Khan and do day trips to other islands from there. I would like to snorkel and swim. Are there islands that one can go to from Prachuap Khiri Khan? Please help!! from South Africa Cape Town.
Hi there, I don't think that Pra Chaop Kiri Khan is a good place to do snorkeling but if you have much time, I would say that you should travel to the south of Thailand, to Samui or Suratthani or Kra Bi. But if you don't have much time to travel to the south, then you should go to Koh Chang in Trat province. It is a good place for snorkeling, swim and it doesn't take much time, about 5 hours drive from Bangkok. Enjoy the beaches, Toeyja
