Train i used --that would be my choice but when booking
2nd class thats your choice make sure your ticket has
a seat included as mine didnt and i had choice of standing
in a congested passage or pay 15 zloty for a seat

Yes, trains may be full in summer because of holidays - good to buy tickets few days earlier if possible.

I see on bahn de that around 8am
train leaves Krakow Glowny and
gets to Poznan
If it stops at Wroclaw and there's a
train change be prepared for last
minute platform display and a mad
rush & shove.
