I will visit El Tajin in february. The next day, I need to come back to Mexico city pretty early. In my LP travel guide, there is some hotels recommendations, but no map. I need to figure out how to get as close as possible to the bus station to leave very early, even maybe by night. Could anyone find me a city map online ?
look I dunno if you know mexico city but it's a hugh city my friend, what I want to say is that you have to worry for the time spend in travelling in Mexico city. If you need to take a plane or an important meeting then you shouldn't take a risk and buy a ticket in order to enter Mexico city let say, 6-7 am. at that time people is already moving to get to thirs jobs. deberas saber los horarios y corridas desde Tajin a la ciudad de mexico para coordinar los tiempos de salida y llegada. pagas el hotel y reservas un taxi para que pase y te recoga del hotel, a la hora precisa acerca de buscar un mapa, que tal tajin city map en yahoo?

I will likely come back to "terminal del norte". I have no idea how much time it will take to reach the airport from this terminal. I can take a plane in the early afternoon, there are some between 1 and 3 PM. But, the bus from Poza Rica to Mexico take too much time, so I will likely come back to Pachuca the previous day, will make for a nicer trip, with less stress. My itinerary is obviously too tight, I have to cut. I would still like to have the map. I didn't find any on Map Quest, nor on a mexican site who have very complete road maps, but no detail about this city. I will try yahoo.

About the bus schedule, there is a website ( www.ticketbus.com.mx ) where I saw some busses between Poza Rica and Mexico, but I will have to check for more when I will go to Poza Rica. I want to go at least one way by day to see la Sierra Madre orientale, but could come back by night. Thanks for the answer. Yvon LeD
