How would I get from Nice to Portofino? How many miles is it and how long would it take on the train? Also, do you think it would be possible to take a helicopter from nice airport to the Splendido Hotel?

ps= there is no train station in Portofino the station you wanna get off at is S. Margherita Ligure

driving is about 230 km, considerably less than 3 hours, to the Rapallo exit and drive thru Santa Margherita Train - may require 2 changes en route, one in Ventimiglia and one in Genoa. Helicopter - the Splendido and Splendido Mare did not, the last time we were there, offer an heliport.
