I am traveling to Porto Seguro the second week in January. Are there any sports Bars or hotels, where I can watch the NFL playoffs? Anyone who can assist with any info it would be much appreciated. Jay
i don't think that will be possible. i have never seen american style football on tv in brazil in the 19 months i have spend there. brazil is all about soccer and to some extend volleyball and formula 1.

I remember watching the Superbowl at an internet cafe in Barra, Salvador with a bunch of other Americans (only because my American city was playing for the first time in decades), so you might be able to find someplace in Porto Seguro. I suppose saying When in Rome....wouldn't tempt you to watch soccer instead --or leave the expensive laptop at home?

Sorry to inform, but NFL Football is almost unknow in Brazil...will be very unlikelly to find a place to watch it.
