Has anyone stayed at the Avalon Hotel just SE of Downtown Portland? http://www.avalonhotelandspa.com If so, what was your experience? Robert
I've not stayed there. I've been by there quite a few times though because of the public walkway along the river (Willamette Greenway Trail) that goes right by there. From the trail, all you can see of the place is what looks like a very expensive looking restaurant, and you can't even tell it is there. The place must have a great view of the river.
