where can I get a list of the stores that are located in a courtyard like setup in Tarpon Springs. There's a shop that sells all Jimmy Buffet shirts, a Life is Good shop, clothing boutiques etc. I can't think of the name of the shopping area (the entrance is across from the sponge docks . I have been mostly finding the single stores that are right on Dodocanese ... this sits back and you kind of go through and archway
I'd like to write a review for a hotel that is not listed here. Is there a way for me to do so?
While in Miami Beach & Miami Area if you want to park on-street, how does that system work? What information do you have to input on those green parking poles (license plate, phone number, etc)? What payment method can you use and which one is the best/safest?
I'm from Brazil, and I and my girlfriend will be visiting Orlando for New Year's Eve. We've never been to Orlando, Miami or Florida.
We just got an idea to grab a couple of tickets for a Miami Dolphins game starting at 1:00pm on December 29th, so we're planning to drive from Orlando early in the morning, watch the game, stay a while in Miami and go back to Orlando at night.
We don't know anything about the traffic in this region, especially close to New Year's Eve, so my question is: is it possible for this plan to go wrong, due to very heavy traffic, closed roads or things like that?
I'm kinda worried because here in Brazil, on some holidays, a trip that normally takes 3 hours could easily turn into a 12 hour nightmare...
My family and I (a party of 7, 5 kids from 15 to 10) are spending two week in Florida. We are planning to visit theme parks in Tampa and Orlando and we need to rent a home in each location to fit all. We do not want to stay in Tampa or Orlando next to the parks, does anybody now a close but "not so close" location near Tampa or Orlando where me may rent a place to stay?
We will go back to Miami for the 4th time and we have made in the past several air boat tours in the Everglades near Miami or Florida City. On your opinion, what is the best choice you can suggest to me ? (We will rent a car).
We wish to find a one hour (or 45 min) tour with comments and some stops on the water and then a visit of a gator farm. We do not foresee to cross Florida to go to the West coast.
Thanks for the advices.
Plan to be in the Miami area with a car for a weekend in the beginning of February... want to see South Beach (walk, shop, dinner?) and also the Everglades (Shark Valley) and then fly out on Sunday. Looking for a reasonably priced hotel (no more than about $200), nice for mature adults, in safe area. Not necessarily at the airport since I have a car to return there.
What are my public transportation options to travel from Universal Studios Orlando to Kennedy Space Center,FL
from Kennedy Space Center,FL to ORL airport.
First time visiting the states next year with my wife and want some suggestions for places to stay for a week. Really dont want to spend more than $150 a night.
We wont have a car, and want somewhere close to beach, shopping and nightlife if possible. nightlife isnt so important as long as there are some decent places to eat/drink. Shopping for clothes and gadgets (for me). Beach , not bothered but must be clean and not too crowded.
My husband and I are interested in a few days camping in Florida north of Orlando, Tampa areas. After a weekend visiting family Thanksgiving in Palm Harbor and Tampa, we're looking for nature, birding, possibly swimming, not too expensive. We will have a car and tent camp gear and are considering Ocala NF, Withlacoochee SF, Chassahowitzka / Crystal River (manatees?). What are the temperatures, hunting, crowds / reservations or other places we should be considering? Thank you.
We have 8 adults and 5 children and wanting to stay a week in a vacation rental and only 2 days to Disneyworld, plus vehicle rental/s. I figure not staying right at Disney might be cheaper. Plus flying from Detroit to Orlando 13 seats. Does this maybe look familiar to anyone that's gone. Just want a round about amount of what the costs would be? Or anyone have any suggestions would be a great help..
In January a friend and myself are flying into Orlando then renting a car and drive over to Daytona for the Rolex 24 Hour race. We are arriving Orlando about 8:30 PM and I am sure it will be 9:30 before we get our rental car. We are wanting to locate a large grocery market or even a Wal Mart supercenter so we can stock up on camp food and beer for the weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also what time do beer sales end on Thusday night in Florida. I know each state varies and we want to make sure that once we arrive Daytona we dont have to leave until Monday.
Together with my wife and our 6 months baby I shall be in Miami in a couple of days and we're were planning to spend a day driving around Florida Keys. Do you recommend such a drive during this time of the year? Should we opt to reach Key West or you suggest we stop before to make the road shorter especially back to Miami?
Any feedback is very much appreciated!
We are a british family trying to decide on our vacation for next April. We have narrowed it down to Port Charlotte or Cape Coral. We will be renting a house and looking for boat hire. We have a 13yr old son and like a good choice of restaurants to hand. Where do you think we would be better suited, we are striggling to find any good tourst info on either area. Dont be biased now!
Many Thanks for your help.
