I'm coming to Seattle in mid-July and I have never been there but I would just like to find a simple boat tour of the famous Sound. Afternoon/Evening preferred. I don't need luxuries, I just want to be on the water and in a boat small enough to get a good perspective of the terrain. If its possible to get close to any animal/wildlife/bird photo ops, or if there is a stop somewhere for this purpose that would be great too.

We are going to the visitor center at Grand Coulee this Saturday. What else can we do nearby--and maybe stay the night. we are coming from seattle so we could drive back home, but would like to check out the area. Any suggestions? 3 adults.

Is the Tannhauser still open in Port Angeles? I tried caaling them to find out and their phone is disconnected.
I've read that Port Angeles is more a gateway to Olympic Park than anything else. I'm going to Seattle in November, have always wanted to visit this place, and will have a car, but am not planning on doing too much in the actual park because of time constraints. Is it worth it? Is it a nice town? Also, I was thinking about driving around the whole peninsula before coming to Port Angeles. Is that worth it? Has anyone been to Neah Bay and can comment on it? Thanks in advance.
