Hi! Can you give me a visual description of what life is like in Poplar Bluff? I'll be moving there soon. Does it have malls, nightlife, hospitals, market, schools, universities? Thank you so much. Iris
I've been through Poplar Bluff several times and had a friend/coworker who lived there a while back. It is a small town, but not bad at all. It has decent shopping and malls. Cost of living is reasonable and crime is not bad. It is located a few hours south of St. Louis and not a bad drive from Memphis in case you get an urge to make a weekend trip to a larger city. I've never heard too many bad things about it in general. If you are not used to small towns, it will probably be a bit boring at times. However, if you meet some new friends, you will probably have much more of an enjoyable experience. Good luck.
