Good day fellow travellers, I need update information if I can use this border checkpoint to ride from Kuching to Kalimantan. For my past riding trips across SEA, I do not need a visa(Singaporean) I need to know if my bike requires a Carnet. Your help is much appreciated.
I have traveling from Pontianak to Sarawak and Brunei Darussalam last December 2011, no need visa for citizens of South East Asean country (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore,Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar). You can ride your bicycle and crossing this borderline, then process your passport at Malaysian Immigration Office at Tebedu, then in about 3 minutes walking distance, process the passport at Indonesian Immigration Office at Entikong.
