We will be taking a cruise in April and one of the stops in Ponta Delgada. Do we need to take a cruise side trip or are there many things to see close to where the ships dock?
You can easily keep yourself busy for a day in Ponta Delgada as it is a real nice town with some interesting sights. And the ships dock right by the center of town. It´s an island with a few very nice places though and i would recommend to get a little around the island if you are there for more than a day.
