We will be staying for three nights in Aigues-Mortes in mid-September and my partner is keen to sample some Camargue beef. Where is the best place that would also serve something like chicken or fish for me as I can't stand red meat please?
I am a Canadian teacher taking a sabbatical year and would like to move to Perpignan. I am looking at renting a small house in town - but I do not know the neighbourhoods or schools! I would love some good advice. My kids are "college" aged and speak French.
Hi, we are travelling to Le Cap d'Agde at the end of September and start of October this year (2014).
Many places are closed I'm told? But what advice can people give us on accommodation - we are considering Oz'Inn, but they have told me they are "textile" and we cannot be nude all the time there (which we would prefer). Is this really true? There doesn't appear to be many other hotel type accommodation available?
And for shopping and restaurants - will there be places still open in October in Le Cap d'Agde, or will we have to go to another town for meals?
We are going to be there from the 29th September to the 9th October, in case anyone else wants to make contact.
We are barging in July and wish to go and visit Minerve - I assume we will get there from Homps - are there taxis or busses to take us from Homps to Minerve?
We will be on the Canal du Midi on a boat on Bastille Day - where would you recommend we try to get to for that festival on 14 July? We leave from Narbonne on 12 July and return there on 19 July
