Vesuvius Tour?

Hey all, is there some kind of tour offered for Mt. Vesuvius? We will be in ROme in May, and would like to take a trip down to Pompeii. Would love to see Vesuvio up close and personal. Not sure what, if anything, is offered. Helicopter tours? Thanks All J&R
