Hello, I am looking for a hotel in the Pompano, Fort Lauderdale area that is situated on the beach. After wading through several hotels online, I have found very few. Does anyone have any recommendations of a nice, clean, beach hotel which provides service (ie cocktails, towels, etc) to the beach area? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
When are you going? I know someone that has a nice place down there. It’s a nice resort in a park-like setting, adjacent to five golf courses and close to the beach and Fort Lauderdale. If you’re interested, I could check with them. I may be the first week of July.

hi -- if i'm not too late, i just got back from pompano beach and spent a week at the lighthouse cove resort, which another post mentions also. i enjoyed it very much. their website is www.lighthousecove.com. in my travel pages, i have a fuller description of it. -- susie margaret
