Hi, We (my wife and I)are staying in Polis mid April. 1] We will need transport, any good car/jeep hire places? 2] festivals/events worth seeing? Cheers
Hiya Polis is a lovely resort on the northern coastline a good 45 - 60 mins drive from Paphos. It is a small town and I would expect in April not thrieving. However, Easter is celebrated extensively in Cyprus if your holiday coincides. I would recommend hiring a car to explore other areas of the island, including Paphos, Limassol, Nocisia and the Troodos Mountains. Car hire from the airport can be easier if you do not have a transfer with a tour operator but there are many Car Hire firms in resort. The weather should be pleasant but not scorching making sight seeing an enjoyable experience.
