I am planning my vacation from late September to early October from Dubrovnik to Korcula, from Korcula to Hvar, and from Hvar to Split. I went on the Jadrolinja website and it shows sailing dates from Dubrovnik to Korcula only for 9/26 and 9/29. I guess the saling schedule after September is not yet available. I am leaving Dubrovnik for Korcula on 9/29 anyway so that is not my main concern. My main concern is planning the ferry connections from Korcula to Hvar and from Hvar to Split since I need to make the reservations for the pensions now. Are there ferries other than Jadrolinja that operate from Korcula and from Hvar? Based on your past expriences, are there daily ferries in early Octrober from Korcula to Hvar and from Hvar to Split?

Ploce is at the end of the railway line from Bosnia, and would be a good spot for an overnight stop.I cant find much information, one guide book is not very complimentary. Any VT ers with comments. Thanks.

I arrive in Dubrovnik on 24th August but the apartment I am staying in won't be available until the 25th. It is located at the Gates of Ploce - can anyone suggest a room that I could stay in close-by for one night for 30-50 euro? Thanks a million.
