Can you help me. Are there buses from Rijeka to Plitvice National Park. or is it easier to go from Split. We are thinking of flying to Rijeka get the ferry to Dubrovnik and Split and the go to Plitvice
Hello, All coaches on the Zagreb-Zadar route stop at Plitvice; it is also possible to visit Plitvice as a day trip from most coastal resorts between the Kvarner Riviera and mid-Dalmatia. Last summer we took a bus from Zadar to the lakes and in the evening left from the park by bus which went to Split. So at least from Split You can get a bus to Plitvice NP. But if it is during summer try to be at Plitvice early in the morning, it got very crowded in the afternoon in the beginning of July when we visited the park. Have a great time in Croatia!

Not an easy question any more.... Most buses between Zagreb and the coast now take the motorway and don't pass... more
