We are coming into town to see a pirates game on our way to DC. Where should we stay and is the airport to far for a cab ride or do we need to rent a car?
On a Road game, kidding. Pittsburgh has blossomed into a great tourist city. Have a look at the Omni. It looks to be convenient to PNG Park and The Strip District. I hope a local doesn't find this too bad an idea.

I have always had a lot of success using priceline.com for finding a decent price on a great hotel in the CBD or near the airport in Pittsburgh. I have a few that I have stayed in my Pittsburgh pages if you want to have a look. Most of the downtown hotels are within walking distance of the park. Enjoy!
