I have only found one Backpackers hostel in Pittsburgh on the net or phone book. Are there more?

    I think the hostel you speak of recently closed, please check the information and call the establishment to verify they are open. The local newspaper "Pittsburgh post Gazzette" had an article on this situation a few months ago. So, please confirm your information.
