Hiking in and around Pismo?

We're taking a short weekender in Pismo Beach, and I'm wondering if any of you can suggest some short and scenic hikes in the area? I'd also love to hear your thoughts on other good outdoorsy things to do and see, besides the beach (which we'll do) and ATV-ing on sand dunes (which we won't). Thanks!

    Morro Bay, nearby, has kayaking in the bay and the walk around the Blue Heron Sanctuary near the Inn at Morro Bay is a great viewing area for the Heron and Morro Rock for the falcon.
