Wanna sell me a bike?

Does anybody know where could I buy a used mountain bike? I'll come to Italy in june to have a cyckling trip (3 weeks). I think it's cheaper to buy bike than rent it, what do you think? Has anybody done that way: bought a bike from a local dealer and sold it back for the same one after trip?
