We are going from Athens to Piraeus and from information provided by your site the best way to get there is by Metor from Monastiraki station. Upon arrival in Pireaus what stop is best to go to locations where cruise lines depart. We will be travelling on Holland america on Oct 17th. Thanks Kirk
Check piraeus.com/s/piraeus/travel... It appears that the metro is close by and the buses stop close to the port. The last time I took a bus I had to walk about 1/2 mile but that was years ago.

The Metro Station and Bus stop is about 1/3 mile walk from where the cruise ships dock. Walk along the waterfront with the water at your right shoulder and you'll be walking in the right direction.

From the metro station you will have to cross the road - use the pedestrian bridge. It all depends where Holand America departs from as to how long a walk you will have. If you're going on a cruise will you not have a fair amount of luggage? You might be better getting a taxi from the metro station.

The nearest cruise ship quay 'terminal A' is 1½Km(1mi) from the last Metro station - Takes about 20-30 mins walk. The quays close by the metro station are only used by ferries.
