Hi , may be you can help us, we are travelling next week to Durban and staying there for a couple of days and then hiring a game in Hluluwe for 3 days , on the next day we wanted to drive to the Drakensberg mountains to be able to see something different, beach - game - mountains.... do you know if we need to take the malaria pills? we only have this week and next week before the weekend so we the time is running out...
do you know also how long would it take us to drive from Hluluwe to the Drakensberg mountains and from there back to Durban ? as our plan was to drive back to Durban on the day we have to fly back to London.

Hello! I am a female American student who will be studying abroad in Pietermaritzburg, UKZN next semester. I am very excited to go but I am a little bit concerned about safety. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on this issue. Do you consider Pietermaritzburg to be a safe place? What are some safety precautions that you recommend I should take take?
