I just wrote a General tip on Siem Reap street names around the Old Market. I think I have been able to identify some of them but I have not been able to figure out the name of the street that runs along the northwest side of the Old Market. Does anyone know it?
Seems that the streets that enclose the market are all called "Psar Cha". I'll dig my maps out later & see if they have more detailed info.

Sorry Ray, none of my maps are detailed enough. Check this Canby Publication as well: canbypublications.com/maps/s...

Thanks for trying, Betska! That Canby map of the Old Market area is the best one that I have found also. Even Google Earth is missing many street names. Actually Google Earth has mislabeled Pub Street. I am pretty confident of the other street names now if I have read the Khmer letters correctly. However, I still don't have the one that runs along the northwest side of the Old Market.

Yes, I checked google earth too, and all it did was get me reminiscing about the place! Tell me, what's the difference between Phumi Siem Reab, and Khett Siem Reab???? I am just starting my SR pages and have chosen Khett Siem Reab. Do you know are they one & the same place?.... A question for VT maybe???

Khett is the province and Phumi the city. I tried to differentiate the two under my "Khett Siem Reab" page.

I get to answer my own question. The Jun 09 version of the Canby map has more street names! The street that runs along the northwest side of the Old Market is Street 9. Pub Street is Street 8 and Hospital Street is 2 Thnou Street.
