Hi! planning a trip for the first time to siem reap. Is it advisable to go there 2nd week of October? Is this still the wet season? Is it advisable to take the bus from bangkok to siem reap and vice versa? How long is the trip? where do we get bus tickets? Is it possible to hire a taxi from bangkok to siem reap and vice versa?

You can easily get to Siem Reap using Bangkok Airways. They offer a Discoery Air pass for about USD90.00. You can be in Siem Reap in about 1 1/2 hours. Cheap, fast and convinient!
