In Vietnam, one needs lunar days sometimes ; for example, the sensational Bao Lac Market takes place every 5, 10, 15, 20 25 et 30th lunar day. To get the equivalent solar day-lunar day, open
The lunar days are in the bottom right corner of each box (for ex., 25 September = 13th lunar day)
Hello everybody! We leave in less than 2 weeks!!
We have been trying to apply on-line for our Vietnam visa and have found a few different "official" websites for the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam but some of them seem not authentic. Can someone please share the actual official website.
The one provided by the Government of Canada doesn't really work (travel.gc.ca/destinations/vi...)
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My husband and I will be staying at the Hyatt Regency in Da Nag which has a shuttle bus to Hoi An. But the last bus returns at 6PM and we would like to have dinner in Hoi An. Does anyone know if there is a bus that goes to Dan Nag in the evening?
Thanks for your help.
I will be travelling by bus into Vietnam from Cambodia and therefore I require a hard copy visa stamp to show at the border crossing point. (I will be staying in Vietnam for longer than 15 days.)
Is there any way to obtain a legitimate hard copy visa stamp for Vietnam in the UK before travelling other than sending my passport to the Viet Nam Embassy in London? The website is archaic and provides no information on how much this costs.
Does anybody know exactly how much the entire process costs (recorded delivery from and to a UK address, visa stamp, fees, arbitrary charges, etc.) and, crucially, do I have any alternative?
My family has 6 people and we are going to the South East Asia at the beginning of 2016. My grandfather wants to come to Vietnam to recall about his memories in the past. He also wants to meet some old friends in the battle if it could be possible. I’ve heard that some travel agents in Vietnam could arrange a meeting with ex soldiers so if you guys have some ideal about these please kindly recommend me. Not all of my family members are young so we need comfortable accommodation and light activities. I searched on Google and saw some results of the Best Price Vietnam and I think it seems quite okay.
What do you guys think? Thanks.
I have 5 days to spend in one of these two places.
Which one would you suggest? I don't have any particular things i am interested in - just looking to get lost for a few days. Both seem to have places to go on good day/ over night trips to escape the crowds. I really cant decide between the two.
Can anyone whos been to both help throw some light. If it helps, i have been to S.E Asia before - Thailand and Singapore. This will be just a 5-day trip from Hong Kong - so no other itinerary logistics. Also, I travel alone.
I am very interested to visit Vietnam and It seems I have a chance this time! But I have not much time! a week
or less!! and I dont know where is the best place to start (I mean which city)and I need help, really!
I think it is better to chose on city or destination in Vietnam on this trip, only!
TKS in advance!
It's October now and maybe I'll have a short-time break at the end of November this year. So I think It's time for me to go and take a pleasure and my friends suggested Halong Bay in Vietnam? However, I'm wondering whether it's a good time to come? You guys please do me a favor, let me know when the best season to visit Halong is so I can appropriately schedule my plan.
Thank you so much,
