I am going to Phuket in 2 weeks time. Can anyone recommend me a nice reasonably price guest house in Patong area? Thanks.
I'll be there from the 12th to the 26th :) I booked using Agoda.com, AU$500 for 14 nights at The Viridian, Booking.com is good too. Sorry, best I can do for you, just try these sites and read reveiws.

Hi was there in Phuket and basically stayed at Patong area. I stayed in Yokeshire hotel and the price was very reasonable. The hotel is in a prime location to beach, night life places and so forth. Initially i booked the hotel through Agoda for two nights and for the third night i paid as i checked out. Price difference was not that huge. Per night is 900 bath if you book directly with hotel.

Try the guesthouses in front of Royal Paradise Hotel. I can recommend Niku Guesthouse.
