I'll be travelling to Phu Quoc in November and flying from there to HCMC and then back to Europe. I've read in the internet that flights from Phu Quoc are often cancelled if there are not enough passangers or the weather is bad. Is this true? I really don't want to miss my flight to Europe, so how much time should I have for transit in HCMC?
Flights are often delayed or canceled due to weather issues...Vietnam Airlines from my few experiences with them were professional and the three flights I used them for this past winter were on time and no luggage issues..if you're really concerned book your return back to HCMC the day before your International flight. Have fun on Phu Quoc...its a beautiful and peaceful place..spent five days there this past January..
