Where to park a car for two weeks?

by Laurel914 Online Now Dec 12, 2010 at 10:17 AM

Hi, I'm flying from the Phoenix airport next week and need to leave my car there for almost two weeks. Are there any long term parking areas that I can take a shuttle from to get to the airport? Thank you! Laurel

I know nothing of any real use, but out of interest (for the future) I explored the parking options at the airport. Speaking as a Brit, 9/11USD per day is very good value for airport parking, and there are free shuttle buses available: phxskyharbor.com/transportat... phxskyharbor.com/PhxPerspect...

For the size of the airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor has very few options for off-airport parking lots and, in the past, I've always just parked at the economy lot at the airport itself. However, I've also only been there for about a week, max. I would try calling some of the lots around there and negotiate a rate. All of them offer shuttles to the airport. The airport itself has long-term parking for9/day, but you can't negotiate with them on that and you can get it cheaper outside the airport. But, because this is the holidays, you're not going to get a great deal. This is their high season. You're looking at probably about6 per day. There are several lots on Van Buren, just north and west of the airport, as well as around 44th Street, north and east of the airport. There are also a couple on University, directly south of the airport. Look online though.
