Hotel Recommendation Please- maybe by airport

Hello, Wife and I will be flying out of Phoenix after a week of hiking in Az!! Flight is early Sunday so we were going to drive in Sat night and stay at a hotel. The couple of Motel 6 reviews I've read are quite bad. Do you guys have any recommendations for a hotel kinda near the airport that is clean quite and cheap (maybe asking for too much:)?
