i will be in ho chi minh by august 21 and planning to go to cambodia for a day or two.what airlines should i take or is there a bus/train going to cambodia? Can you reccommend a hotel, a cheap one for overnight stay which is clean and safe at the same time and near the market place. thank you and i hope to hear from you soon.
Try Jetstar. They should have a flight in that route.

The two cities are fairly close and most people use the bus. When you're in HCMC, and if you're staying in the backpacker area (Pham Ngu Lao), you will see PP bound buses loading on the main street. Mekong Express and Mai Linh are two companies - I've always had excellent luck with Mai Linh in Vietnam. I've also read that taking a taxi is not too expensive ($35. to the border, and another25. into PP). Be sure to go for more than one day. canbypublications.com/cambod...

It really easy take by bus from Hochiminh to Phnom Penh , it take only 6 hour or something like that. in Phnom Penh many hotel or guest house for stay but also expensive i would like recommend you to stay at Diamond guest house , that is really nice room , clean , free WiFi, hot shower , the room with window ,cable TV, close to the river, wat Phnom , post office , central market , National Museum , Royal palace .... and the price is cheaper them Ho chi minh Room with fan10 , with A/C12 Diamond guest house #54Eo,St:13 Phone : (855) 12 646 156/ 12 69 79 61 Email : hi_dimaond2002@yahoo.com if you diciest to stay that place just phone we free pic up from the bust station , Thanks Samet
