Rough estimate Monins, if we budget P150/head, 6K can support around 40 pax.

With Cess' pledge, seed money is now 7K. Ang alam ko, Yla will give cash but has not indicated the amount yet.

Hi.. Accdg to Ms. Edna, hindi na daw masyado naeenjoy ang programs, most daw ng "small" groups go with giftgiving na lang. Since most residents ay hindi na din nakakajoin ng programs. Pero if you can think of stuffs to do, suggest lang po kayo. For me, we can mingle with the elders na lang kung wala tau program. I can ask if we can move the time to 9am. That would be 9am to 11am in case. Maybe we can just prepare a simple breakfast. Hot pandesal plus coffee... For gifts, the GA needs the basic: Rice, shampoos, soaps, toothpaste, sugar, coffee, sandwich spreads.. canned goods. I will ask Ms. Edna for more details mamaya pag tumawag ako uli. As for the gifts sa mga lolo and lola natin, as someone suggested sa isang thread, like ng mga lolas yung mga kikay stuffs.. Sabi ng isang friend ko na nagpunta na sa GA, natuwa daw un mga lola mostly sa mga "bracelets, earrings, powder, blouse/bestida" Un mga lolo's daw, sandos/hankys un binigay nila.. I guess mas maapreciate ng mga lola at lolo natin kung ang laman ng loot bag natin ay personal stuffs for them. Un mga adult diapers and other stuffs would go to GA as a whole kasi. I think its safe to say na 50 residents ang i-accomodate natin. I'm sure madami pang ibang darating na money. =) So as of now, ito po ang ilalagay sa permit natin: 1.gift giving - no program (yet) 2. 50 GA residents 3. 5 volunteers. (Utchie, Moninz,Ate Aida, Cess, Priscilla)

Utchie, is it possible to include all our names (those who signed up sa party) as volunteers? Feeling ko mas madaling magbawas than magdagdag. I guess, GA is asking for the name for security reasons eh.

since we have limited time and limited resources, lets prioritize na lang what we will bring to them. i remember on the other thread that a couple of members are going to bring toothpaste and toothbrushes and yet another soap and shampoos. we'll make that part of our loot bags. what else we need to source out... we just have to make sure that the kind VT members who volunteered to bring the stuff will have enough for 50 pax. :)

Ate Aida, I was going to suggest the very same thing. Lets declare 30 volunteers kesa sa may mga sobra on the day at hindi makapasok. I am not sure if they need the names pero if we have a list of names (real full names) the better. I hope hindi nila kailanganin ng names =) As for the residents, safe siguro ang 50 pax. Any excess sa budget, let us just spend it sa mga stuffs na kailangan ng GA. I will try to move it to 9am pero no promises.. For now, we are still on 8am to 10am. Ate Aida, do you have the list of names?

I think we have to set a "deadline" to give the Logistics people time to shop for the needed items and pack in loot bags. Is December 5 okay? and i would like also to commend Uchie, aida, cess, juds and the rest for being so generous with their time doing everything for GA (and also the christmas party) from the set up to finalizing stuffs. ang galing nyo.
