Manila NAIA transit /from terminal 1 to terminal 2

by todos Online Now Aug 28, 2007 at 6:41 AM

Manila NAIA transit /from terminal 1 to terminal 2 Technically, what happens in case of transit in Manila international airport? Arrive at Philippines Airlines terminal (international flight) and take another international flight from Terminal 1 (the old one). Does it involve going through immigration, and paying 750 peso tax?

I am not positive, since I have not done this exactly before. But, based on my travels on PAL through Manila, I think that you will have to pass immigratin, exit the Airport Terminal 1, claim all your luggage and find your own way, (by taxi or other means) to Airport Terminal 2. You will then be a "new" passenger and subject to a departure fee.

You pay 750 pesos when you depart on an international flight. I never had to pay a domestic departure tax but I think the price is 200 pesos. wordtravels.com/Airports/Phi... wordtravels.com/Airports/Phi... Hal
