I left my suitcase in a cab, 3 days ago, I contacted several companies because I don't know which taxi I was driving with. I've put my suitcase (with all my wardrobe) in taxi's trunk and when I got out of it I forgot to take the suitcase out. I don't know what to do, I'm sending e mails, should I contact the police? It was really stupid of me to not picking my suitcase but I'm really desperate now. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks
You'll probably get it back. Go to the police as maybe it was turned in, but more importantly, get a list of taxi companies operating in the area and give them all a call. They can help.

Thanks, I will. I called Crescent cab co cause I thought maybe it was that company. But the dispatcher lady was very rude and she said that she will text the message to all the taxi drivers but they (the taxi driver) will decide if he will contact me back... so that's disapointing! I really hope I'll find it, I'll go to the police today.

Hopefully your suitcase has property tags on it. Check for messages where the tag id on the bag address. The lugguage most likely will be returned. I make a police report first and ask their assitence with finding the cab through what you may remember like the color of the cab, time of day, meter, interior, name of driver etc. Sooner or later the bags will be returned,if not, go to a local newroom and see if they will run a story about your bag...Cab drivers like to watch the news morning and night. cheers tommy x

Yeah, I'm from Croatia, here on work and travel program CCUSA. Sooo, on my suitcase is my name and my croatian number so that's a bummer. I'll make everything you said, thanks guys, the problem is I don't really remember the color of teh taxi cause it was after midnight and I was leaving the hostel, all I remember it was a white colored cab, or partially white.So I googled white taxi in Philly. Thanks-a-lot!

Call the hostel for their help too, did you just get a cab in the street? or did they call a cab for you?... Keep on checking the different cab company that are white in color....aSK THE ASSITANCE OF THE POLICE SINCE THEY SEE CABS EVERYDAY. CHEERS TOMMY X GOOD LUCK

Hi guys, didn't have any luck with finding my suitcase unfortunatelly, so now I'm buying all the new clothes. Freakin' awesome start in the U.S. heh
