m going Bangkok soon and book "KC Place" in Pratunam.
I understand can take Airport Rail Link (SA City Line) and alight at Ratcharapop station.
Which exit do I take and which direction do I walk to KC Place?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I will to travel from Bagkok to Myanmar and I would need to have some USD in cash before my departure to Myanmar.
But I wouldn't like carrying cash with me from Europe as I will need to stay in Thailand going around for few days.
Therefore I was wondering if it is possible to withdraw from cash machines in Bangkok money in USD banknotes? any restrictions for such withdrawals.
Please share your experience.

I booked my trip to Bangkok some months ago and I did not expect demonstration to happen. Anyways, is there anyone out the in Bangkok at the moment? I heard from some Thai people that this week Thais celebrate his majesty's birthday so this should be ended before that. However, the situation is getting more intensive day after day. I would like to hear from tourists who are in the city at the moment. My trip is on Friday, December 6. Thanks a lot!!!!!

And what is the buffet charges for one person?
I am planning to visit Kanchanaburi in Dec for 2-3 days. I will be travelling from Bangkok. My plan to visit - Death Railway, WWII cemetary, Sai Yok Yai Falls , Erawan National Park. And I am not interested in Elephant riding or Tiger Temple.
Is it possible to complete them all in 2days-3days?
I have a few more questions.
1. is it possible to stay in camp at night in the jungle?
2. If possible, please provid eme an itnerary.
In an effort to reign in all the "Is it safe" posts, I thought I would attempt to start an "Update" thread. Maybe people can refer to this thread to help decide whether they feel Bangkok is safe or not.
Let's try to find answers, or post insights, in one place.
I will open by stating that today, December 5th, locally, Bangkok is going to celebrate the King's birthday. I can't fathom anyone making any trouble during today's celebrations. However, Suthep, the self proclaimed 'leader' of the protests, has said that the fight will continue, resuming tomorrow, the 6th.
No one can predict what can or will happen All one can do is stay abreast of what is happening and make decisions based on that.
I would like to point out that there really very few hotels near any of the protest 'targets'.
Although one might get near protests, in passing, one is unlikely to be caught up in them, at least up to this point.
Drivers are most likely going to give them a wide berth.
