Bit confused by different website advice on this. Do we need to take Malaria Tabs for Mui Ne in October Thanks VT's
Maybe not, if you're young and your health is normal. Mosquito spray can be more helpful.

We were there in november, can't be much difference, and we were told it was unnecessary. Just rembember to use repellant was what they told us. And that held true for all of vietnam during that time.

Nope there is no malaria in Mui Ne, only need to take if your going of the beaten track in Mekong of sentral highlands

We have just returned from Mui Ne - a great place. Definitely take lots of insect repellent...most of the restaurants are open air and I was eaten alive by mosquitoes even though insect coils had been placed under each table..
