What is the best way to get there? We are flying in to Cairo from America to see the pyramids and I wanted to take a quick trip to Jordan to see the Dead Sea. What is the easiest and least expensive way to go?
You can fly between Cairo and Amman and the dead sea is only about an hour away by car from Amman. If you go by land/ferry then you need at least 2-3 days for the trip. If you decide to do that then you need to drive to Nuweiba in Sinai and take a ferry from there to Aquaba and then drive from there to the dead sea.
