Hi there, I'm planning a 10 day trip to Perth at the end of the month. Was wondering if anyone had any experience staying at either Governor Robinson's or Billabong Backpackers in East Perth... suggestions welcome pls!

Hi Ariane, Thanks very much for your reply. I did stay with them in the end, it wasn't too bad at all. The rooms on the top floor are private doubles, very spacious, with en-suite shower/toilet so it served the purpose. Of course it was kinda noisy and we had issues like a drunken random guy trying to come into our room but well, it is a backpackers hostel isn't it... I moved to Freo's Esplanade Hotel for my last 2 nights and that was a whole world of difference, highly recommended :))) Cheers
