Hi we are staying in Perpignan during Sept. and would like to go to Barcelona for a couple of days, leaving our car with our son. ANy info. on bus/trains would be very helpful. Thanks Denise
Hi We did the trip from Alicante with change of train in Barcelona to train to Perpigan about 10 years ago, the train was excellent, the little we saw of Barcelona made me wish we were staying there. Hope this helps. Whilst in Perpignan we did 2 day trips back into Spain, over the Pyranees and onto Andorra right on top of mountain, got there just after midday and the shops closed at 2pm then reopened sometime after 4pm which was a shock. We also went over another day to visit the Salvador Dali museum in a little town, it is in his home and what a sight, he must have been an amazing man, all the things he made and designed , most people know him for his painting and his favourite subject, it flows into some of his other projects. Takes about 2 hours to get there. Good Luck, Mikebb
