Places to stay near the beach:

H! I hope you are all well! I will be in Biarritz for a weekend at the end of August (Friday the 23rd & Saturday the 24th)
I will be travelling with a friend of mine. We are looking for 2 single rooms in a hotel or apartment as near to the beach as possible.
I have looked up accomodation and found places booked out or very expensive...
Can you recommend anywhere?
We will have a rental car, so can travel to stay in a nice place!
I appreciate your advice!

My wife and I will be in Perigueux for a week in September and we are looking for either a 1 bedroom apartment or similar right in the centre of town. Does anybody have any suggestions? Otherwise a 2 star hotel if anyone can recomend one. Thankyou
