hi - i am hoping you can advice me; we are a family of 4 travelling in december (23rd - 30th december). we will be traveling in south island and could be 6-7 people .. it will be 4 or 7 people. In this group will be 2 kids; 13YO and 6YO. Do we look for a different bed and breakfast every day? Or look for a motor home and drive it around to all aof south island, drop off the van at christchurch airport.. naturally we are looking at reasonably priced options. you could write me on pankaj1203@gmail.com - thanks

can someone recommend a a good basic place to stay that provides transport to support the walking of the Tongariro Crossing.

Travelling December this year and will arrive in Rotorua at 1.00/2.00pm maybe earlier if we need to get there to catch a tour. Departing next day in the morning for the East Cape. Maybe go to Hells Gate in the morning when we leave. What suggestions of things to do in the afternoon and evening? Are there any afternoon tours etc? Also do you know of any accommodation that has undercover parking for motorbikes and air conditioning

I found that Top10 Holiday Park NZ offer quite reasonable accommodations. Are there any other holiday park chain/group that offer similar accommodations & price range?? Appreciate if you can give me some websites or links that I can browse through before I start to make my bookings

We are travel the South Island Sep - Oct and would like suggestions for the first week. We want to go from christchurch to wanaka in 6 days via Picton but would definatly like to check out the wineries in Blemheim. We are traveling with our three children 2 teens and a 10 year old.

Hi everyone. I intend to do a trip from Christchurch to Queenstown for bout 8 days in the first week of June. I've never travelled on my own (solo-virgin!) and I'm hoping to meet up with people who have done so or intend to travel during the same time as me for a drink or even a day trip. At this stage I have no idea if I'm planning to rent a campervan and drive down (winter roads??) or grab a bus tix and book into a backpackers where ever I end up for the day. Would love to hear some ideas/suggestions.. cheers!
